In the movies, yes. If you start adding in stuff on the small screen
(and a couple of movies not in your list) you get Arrow (The Green
Arrow), Shazam, Swamp Thing, Birds of Prey (Black Canary,Huntress, Oracle), Constantine, the show Legends of Tomorrow, Titans (The teen titans), Lucifer, Black Lightning, probably a bunch more I've forgotten. The CW has been loading up DC shows for years.

I have watched episodes of The Flash and seen crossover stuff in the Arrow? show etc. I agree they try and that's good. I don't think the cinema stuff
thus far in the DC universe has worked well for them.

The MCU and the way they have systematically built and established huge
stories with arcs that span years and several movies it totally ingenious. I think MCU fans have learned to always watch for the post credit scenes etc.
and that's also a sign of a good storyteller developing new and accepted
norms for the audience to cue to.

I agree. I have only watched the first two and only started looking at Arrow once he and his sidekicks popped up in an episode of The Flash :)
