• fANSIn v0.2: convert written words and ASCII to .ans

From Malvinas@21:4/167 to All on Mon Feb 23 09:47:03 2026
    I present everyone, my tool:
    fANSIn v0.2: https://polmalvinas.neocities.org/
With this program, developed in C#, you can paste written words, along with ASCII graphics, and give it color. Then, convert to the .ans format and upload to any place where the content you created can be viewed.
Bang!! You got your own e-zine in the clasic ANSI format. I recommend downloading the source code, open with MS VS, modify/improve and use right from there.

    Mary4!!! You're trying my code, I'm honored.
You can just open the solution from any C# development environment in any other OS that can run C# code. Or you can try my .exe on wine. You say it wouldn't run on wine??
thank you tahnk you thank you for tryin it out.

Try Mono Framework? I was able to even get a GUI app I wrote in C# to compile in Linux with Mono.

Aside from Mono, I thnk Microsoft even has an official .NET runtime for Linux now. And for GUI applications, I think WinForms applications will work on Linux, but I think there is still no support for running WPF-based GUI applications on Linux.
