Subject: Power Supply for the A500 Mini...
Everything I've come across says to use at least a 2 Amp USB power module. Just ordered a 3 Amp phone charger charger. Getting a pair of them with 4 connectors.
My question is with a 3-3.1 Amp power module...is there any danger of frying anything like the A500...RPi 3B+ or to recharge a phone?
Nope more is better than less.
Thought so. Have had issues in the past of trying to power some of these ARM boards from a PC USB port or a power brick "supposedly" able to handle the requirements.
I have a 30 amp Mass charger brick I will
eventually make into a project box. Eventually going to make a Mass battery
pack with it so I can run multiple USB devices at once. Pi's and other fun toys while on the go.
Want to get my CD-10 Mini mod complete to try a project I came across earlier from "Retro Recipes" of her building something called a Callisto retro. Was interesting...but also came across the plans to build a mini-PET with working screen running RetroPie. Instead of using an RPi 3+ I have...thought about using a RPi Zero W to run emulators up to the late 90's...like the N64 & on up.
Even thought about using some of the wood filament I have to make the case out of wood. Be a one of a kind of retro no one else has. Would be different.
