Magicka will now convert utf-8 messages to cp437... it uses the TRANSLIT feature to get best substitutes for characters not supported by CP437

It's not ideal, as if you have a UTF-8 Terminal it gets converted to
CP437 then back to UTF-8.

This should hopefully fix the weird glyphs in utf-8 messages...

I'll upgrade everything, check permissions, test and if it fails email

So I upgraded, and I also changed the permissions slightly making it writable
by all
as well as owner... not sure what fixed it but that is working now (Saving a message).
Just need to figure out why my binkd doesn't like Avon! LOL
