Only about [4"] of the photo got printed on that piece of
EXPENSIVE GLOSSY Photo Paper.
Usually a printer provides a visual clue as to how it expects
the paper to be loaded. That is, there should be an embossed
symbol on the feed tray that indicates what it expects to be
the "top edge", and whether the printed side is to be inserted
face up or face down.
I just had to learn the Care and Feeding of the Printer, to know
exactly how "IT" wanted me to use it when printing photos.
Of course, everything I do here is learned The Hard Way.
The Ink Jet Printer I use is a Epson Stylus NX430.
Paper gets put in the Back on this printer just as the older
Dot-Matrix Printers did.
On the NX430 there is an Paper Width adjustment on the left side to
slide against the edge of the paper to keep the stack straight.
