The media is actively manipulating our dictionaries vocabulary. We've discussed this several times in this echo before, but here's something I've noticed recently:

Back in the 90s when I was in high school a catchy slogan that was popular went like this: "Think outside the box." What ever happened to it? It's gone. Nobody says that anymore.

Why not?

It seems like you don't. "Think outside of the box" is what leftists need to do in order to wake up and smell the cashless bail, the unvetted migrants, and the Bidenflation. But the media doesn't want you to follow that advice anymore, so they've discontinued using it in TV shows, movies, radio, etc. They've effectively retrained you to "think INSIDE the box."

Back in the late 80s I loved SNL. I thought it was the coolest show ever, and I played guitar, and I wanted to be a rock star. So with that mindset I was one with the media, and it was able to feed me just about anything. When they picked on gay people, I picked on gay people. When they said that George HW Bush was at war for oil, I parroted it. Whatever the TV said, I doubled down on it.

I think this happens to a lot of young people (impressionable) who want to be part of the media. They think that they have to follow the cues to get there,
but in reality we're just being manipulated.
