I know you were in favor of the border bill, but understand that a lot of Trump's constituents were not. And Trump has a much deeper, more personal connection with his constituents than any house members do.

This right here is the biggest problem in governance today.

A REPRESENTATIVE should be REPRESENTING the people, and thus have a closer connection to the constituency.

These house and senate contests should be the ones that take up most of our time and energy.

The reps should be keeping track of us, especially when we write to them.

Everything I say to my rep goes in one ear and out the other. And he doesn't even reply, he has monkeys do it for him.

They should have a tally on their desk of how many constituents want things 1 way, and another tally of how many want it another way.

For the vast majority of them, that was only after their Leader Trump told
them NOT to like it. Period.

Over the years, the Presidential race has been so noisey it is drowning out some of the other races that really matter. Maybe that is on purpose?

You know, I got dragged along to a production of Hamilton last night. (I really don't like musicals, but I legit enjoyed it. Aaaanyway...)

I had a similar thought during "The Room Where It Happens"

    "The art of the compromise
Hold your nose and close your eyes
We want our leaders to save the day
But we don't get a say in what they trade away"

You are the only person I know, besides Alan and maybe Bjorn, who was in favor of the border bill.

How can you say "vast majority?" There's no clear information about which house members were affected by Trump's suggestion.

Also, how can you call Trump their leader? Not all the house members are 100% loyal to Trump. Mike Johnson is their leader.

    This is uber-convenient.

Two sentences? This might be a record:
    - A priori
    - Alternative truth
    - Appeal to Heaven
    - Blind Loyalty
    - Defensiveness
    - Moral Superiority
    - (Implied) Esoteric Wisdom
    - (Possible) Mala Fides
    - (On Deck) Taboo

Yeah, I had to refer to the master list to get them all. Nobody's perfect.

God's not killing anyone for Trump. Democrats are killing people who stand in their way of killing Trump.

And how many times a day will you continue to pray for the MF?

At least once but sometimes twice.
