Title: Daphne's Salami Garlic Knots

Yield: 12 servings
2 oz Salami; fine chopped
2 cl Garlic; fine chopped
13 3/4 oz Tube refrigerated pizza
- dough
1 lg Egg; beaten
Coarse salt; for sprinkling
Set oven @ 400ºF/205ºC.
Grease a baking sheet. In a bowl, combine salami and
garlic.
On a work surface, unroll the pizza dough, then cut
crosswise into 12 pieces. Working with 1 piece at a
time, roll the dough between your hands to form a 7"
long rope. Tie each rope of dough into a knot and place
on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the knots with the
egg and sprinkle with the salami mixture and coarse
salt.
Bake until golden, about 18 minutes. Arrange on a
platter and serve.
Yield: Serves 12
