• Friends?

    From MIKE POWELL@1:2320/195 to AARON C on Mon Jan 26 08:49:00 2026
Anyone want to be BBS/Internet friends?
I am interested in classic computers and technology, as well as
classic rock and most other genres of music except for country & western. Also like to watch sci-fi and horror. Don't read as much as I used to but
    I should.

Welcome. You can find all sorts of discussion on most of those things on
    the BBSes.

Classic computers/tech = I am running this BBS on software that was last updated for Y2K (and in 1994 before that!).
Music = like most of it except, oddly, some of what was popular when I was
    in high school.
Sci-fi = Love the Twilight Zone, many H G Wells stories, M R James, what I have read so far of H P Lovecraft.
Horror = Like the classics like the original Frankenstein, The Cabinet of
Dr Kaligari, the original Nosferatu, but not the more recent blood-and-gore/slasher movies.

If you feel adventureous, check out an old radio show called, "X Minus One". There's some good stories that were written by some of the most famous sci-fi authors of the time.
